APJ Abdul kalam always supported for cycle sawari and he encouraged young scientist in DRDO for using cycle. Still it is visible bicycle sawari in Hyderabad research centre of Missile project campus as a mark of respect to Kalam.
I salute Dr Kalam. I have seen some inspiring photographs at exhibitions that Dr Kalam and his associates taking Rockets to launch ground from Thumpa Space Station on Bicycles. These photographs were taken in 1960s and 1970s. It shows the history and growth of our nation's space research and importance of bicycles in our daily life ( though it was a history). I salute Dr Kalam and present Scientists of DRDO, who follow the cycle path of Dr.Kalam.
